A regional educational institution in York and North Yorkshire is seeking Learning Support Practitioners to support students with learning difficulties and disabilities. The role involves providing one-to-one and small group support, assisting with personal care, and collaborating with teaching staff. Learning Support Practitioners provide educational support and care to students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities across College. You will provide support, either one-to-one or for small groups of students, in class and across unstructured time to:

Hours: Applicants must be able to work a minimum of four full days per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays or Fridays, during college term time. 5 days per week could also be available.
Salary: £14.77 per hour inclusive of holiday pay. Plus generous pension scheme. The base hourly rate is £12.62 per hour, plus holiday pay, which gives an approximate hourly rate of £14.77 per hour.
