Position Overview

Penn State New Kensington is seeking current students to represent the face of The University as Orientation Leaders. Individuals selected will welcome the incoming class of students, and teach them about life at Penn State New Kensington.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome the incoming class of students and teach them about life at Penn State New Kensington.
  • Represent Penn State New Kensington both on‑campus and off‑campus.
  • Maintain a positive attitude, high energy, and a willingness to participate in activities, meetings, and training sessions.
  • Present a topic during a session on a topic which will be assigned to you.
  • Have fun!
Qualifications
  • Good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 2.5.
  • Orientation leader to have flexibility of Spring Semester and Summer Term commitments.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, initiative, and professionalism.
