• Agreeing project objectives
• Representing the client's or organisation's interests
• Coordinating work with the client, main contractor, and other third parties involved in the project
• Providing advice on project management
• Organising the professional team working on a project
• Carrying out risk assessments
• Ensuring all project aims are met
• Ensuring quality standards are maintained
