  • Deliver a customer-focused HR service, ensuring compliance with employment law.
  • Lead on HR casework including disciplinary and grievance management.
  • Manage recruitment campaigns end-to-end.
  • Support organisational change initiatives such as restructures.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data is audit-ready.
  • Promote employee wellbeing and deliver training.

Job description

Express Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-respected company who are looking to recruit an experienced HR Business Partner to their team on a part-time, permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be primarily based at the office based near Mansfield one day per week, with flexibility to travel across other sites as required, working 18.5 hours per week, Fridays are an essential working day.

The role offers a salary of c£37K–£41K pro rata, depending on experience, with excellent opportunities for training, professional development, and career progression.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Deliver a professional, customer-focused HR service, offering advice and guidance on all employment matters while ensuring compliance with employment law and organisational policies
  • Lead on HR casework including disciplinary, grievance, capability, and absence management, providing support and direction to managers
  • Manage recruitment campaigns end-to-end, ensuring safer recruitment practices, compliance checks, and smooth onboarding processes
  • Support organisational change initiatives such as restructures, redundancies, transfers, and job evaluations
  • Maintain accurate HR records, produce reports, liaise with payroll, and ensure data is audit-ready
  • Promote employee wellbeing and professional development, deliver training, and provide cover/support for colleagues as required
Skills and Experience
  • CIPD qualified, ideally to level 5
  • Experience in a similar HR role
  • Experience providing HR advice and guidance, ideally in a multi-site organisation
