Overview
Scattergoods Agency is an independent recruitment company established for 50 years near Guildford. We are looking for a proactive and accurate Part Time Finance Administrator working closely with our Accounts Manager. If you have a solid accounts background including weekly payroll, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Calculation and completion of weekly payroll.
- Produce statements and weekly invoices for our client base.
- Processing payments received and reconciling accounts payable.
- 1st stage credit control and reporting issues on balances.
- Produce accurate reports on a weekly and month end schedule.
- Assist with VAT and National Insurance returns and employee pension scheme.
- Processing of invoices received and general accounts administrative tasks.
What we are looking for
- A solid background and proven experience in accounts administration or a similar role.
- Excel skills and aptitude to learn other operating systems.
- Previous experience of working with Sage accounting systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to work under pressure and on occasion independently.

- Location: Office based in Shalford, Surrey (not suitable for home or hybrid working).
- Job Type: Part time, 20 hours a week per year; Four day working week.
