We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and trustworthy part-time Cleaner/Caretaker at a beautiful site in Rickmansworth (WD3). They will take responsibility for the overall cleanliness, presentation, and day-to-day upkeep of a residential development comprising 55 apartments total. The role combines cleaning, light maintenance, and site management duties, ensuring a safe, tidy, and welcoming environment for all residents and visitors.

Internal Communal Areas (3× per week)

• Clean and maintain stairwells, entrance halls, corridors, and walkways
• Dust skirting boards, high-level areas, fixtures, and fittings
• Clean/wipe communal and front entrance doors
• Clean internal glass and external communal entrance door areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and surfaces

External & Car Park Areas (3× per week)

• Litter pick and maintain external areas and parking bays
• Clean external fixtures and fittings
• Monitor bin stores, outdoor lighting, and landscaped areas

Routine & Weekly Duties

• External ground-floor window cleaning (weekly)
• Fire alarm bell test (weekly) with records kept
