A local hotel is seeking a part-time housekeeping staff member to manage cleaning duties, including bathrooms and bed linen changes. The role demands good customer service skills and physical fitness, offering £12.25 per hour with 15 to 20 hours of work per week. Applicants must be reliable and able to maintain high standards. Flexible scheduling including weekends is essential.
£12.25 per hour (Living wage and pension scheme)
15 - 20 hours per week, 6 days over 7
Ability to work Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays essential.
This position is physically demanding and involves lifting and carrying, working up and down staircases, moving furniture, lifting beds, carrying equipment and handling cleaning materials, etc.
You must have Outstanding Customer service skills.
Must adhere to company dress code.
Good communication skills are essential – both person to person and via the telephone for this small hotel. You must be able to work in a professional, courteous, friendly and helpful manner with accuracy and attention to detail. You should be able to work under pressure and as part of a team.
