Care Assistant (Days) – Part-Time | Ocean Living Care Home

Location: Mumbles, Swansea
Pay: £12.60 per hour
Hours: 24 per week • 2 × 12-hour shifts (08:00–20:00)
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time
Rota: Includes alternate weekends

About Ocean Living

We are a small, 14-bed residential care home with a close-knit team and a genuine family feel. Our focus is on providing personalised care for older adults, including those living with dementia, in a calm, supportive, and welcoming environment.

Your Responsibilities
  • Assisting with personal care such as washing, dressing, and toileting
  • Supporting mobility, positioning, and safe movement
  • Helping with meals, drinks, and nutritional needs

  • Monitoring wellbeing and reporting changes promptly

What We’re Looking For
  • A kind, patient, and respectful approach
  • Confidence working as part of a small, supportive team
  • NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (preferred)
  • Registered with Social Care Wales (or willing to register)
  • Experience in a care setting is desirable
