Overview

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Sheffield area as they look to recruit a Bookkeeper into their team on a part time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities
  • Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable
  • Monitor cash flow, track expenses, and reconcile bank statements
  • VAT returns
  • Reconciling Accounts
  • Proactively chasing outstanding arrears and payments
  • Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts
  • Collaborate with the management to create and manage budgets
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Manage tax filings and liaise with external auditors
Qualifications
  • Have previous experience from a similar role
  • Have a Proof of completed training as an accountant
  • Have a good understanding of Accounting
  • Have good IT and finance system skills, as well as good MS Excel skills
  • Possess excellent communication and attention to detail skills
