Temporary Part-Time Accounts Assistant
Truro | 20 hours per week
£14-£15 per hour

Butler Rose is delighted to be working with a well-established organisation in Truro to recruit a Temporary Part-Time Accounts Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional looking for flexible hours within a supportive finance team.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accounts Assistant will play a key role in supporting day-to-day finance operations, with responsibilities including:

  • Purchase Ledger processing and supplier statement reconciliations
  • Managing Accounts Receivable, including monitoring and chasing aged debt
  • Assisting with payroll processing and related administration
  • Supporting month-end procedures, including journals and balance sheet reconciliations
  • General finance and accounting support as required
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role
  • Strong working knowledge of purchase ledger and reconciliations
  • Experience with accounts receivable / credit control
  • Payroll experience (end-to-end or support level)
  • Confidence assisting with month-end processes
  • Good attention to detail and the ability to manage your workload independently
