A leading health service provider in Manchester is seeking an experienced band 6 parent educator to join their Long Term Ventilation (LTV) service. You will deliver education and training to families, empowering them to provide effective care at home. The ideal candidate has experience working with children and young people with medical complexities. This role supports high-quality education and care within a collaborative healthcare environment.
An exciting opportunity within Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced nurse to join our busy Long Term Ventilation (LTV) service as a band 6 parent educator. The role involves working with children and young people who are dependent on medical technology and have significant medical complexities.
The successful applicant will be required to provide education and training to families and carers to empower them to provide safe, competent and effective care at home. The post holder will support the LTV MDT in implementing education, training and the development of training packages for parents/carers and care providers for LTV within the “Better at Home” suite at MFT.
