Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and well‑organised Paralegal to support our Civil Litigation team. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting fee‑earners with a range of litigation matters, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage day‑to‑day casework under supervision. This role is suited to someone with solid foundational litigation experience.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Case Support
  • Assist with managing case files from initial instruction through to settlement or trial.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date case records, key dates, and document management systems.
  • Prepare case bundles, hearing bundles, and disclosure lists.
Legal Research & Drafting
  • Conduct legal and factual research using UK legal resources.
  • Draft routine correspondence, court forms, statements, instructions to counsel, and basic pleadings.
  • Prepare schedules, chronologies, and case summaries for fee‑earners.
Disclosure
  • Support the disclosure process, including document review, indexing, and preparing lists of documents.
  • Assist with obtaining evidence, expert reports, and witness statements.
Client & Third‑Party Liaison
  • Communicate with clients, counsel, experts, courts, and defendants solicitors as directed.
  • Arrange hearings, conferences, and meetings.
Court & Administrative Tasks
  • Ensure compliance with relevant CPR deadlines and procedural requirements.
  • Maintain accurate time recording, and administrative records.
About You
Essential
  • Outstanding academic credentials in Law from UK or overseas universities resulting in
  • a 1st or high 2.1;
  • Strong communication skills, in person and writing;
  • Excellent analytical skills, including for legal issues presented in documents;
  • Independent and proactive approach to work, but willing to ask for help when needed;
  • Hard‑working, resilient, highly organised, and flexible;
  • Acute attention to detail;
  • Respectful of client confidentiality;
  • Comfortable working as part of a dynamic international team.
