Location: Long Eaton
Pay Rate: £28,000 - £32,000
Shift: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4pm, Friday 1pm Finish

Engineering @365 is working with a leading manufacturer of industrial electrical assemblies, specialising in producing high-quality bench and frame‑mounted products for a variety of industries.

Job Description

As an Electrical Fitter / Panel Wirer, you will be responsible for assembling electrical products in line with build instructions and production schedules. You will ensure all work meets the company's quality standards while maintaining a safe and organized working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble a variety of bench and frame‑mounted products according to technical drawings and build packs.
  • Accurately select and mount electrical components, wiring low voltage instrumentation, 110v/230v mains, and high‑power 3‑phase equipment.
  • Conduct self‑inspection of completed work before passing it to other departments.
  • Maintain in‑house quality standards and adhere to the ISO Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Record time spent on tasks accurately using company booking systems.
  • Keep the assembly area clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement through the company's improvement system.
  • Generate Modification Request Notices (MRNs) for any issues identified with Bill of Materials, drawings, or assembly processes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience mounting electrical hardware and wiring panels.
  • Competency with low voltage instrumentation, 110v/230v mains, and high‑power 3‑phase equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team on larger projects.
  • Proactive approach to problem‑solving and effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety, ISO procedures, and SOPs.
Reporting

This role reports directly to the Assembly Manager.
