Working in our properties across the Northwest

Permanent, full time (37.5 hpw), Monday to Friday

Earn £33,433 per annum plus van, generous on call allowance and great benefits

Typical day as a Painter and Decorator

• Multi skilled Painter and Decorator, all allocated jobs are completed right first time, with a whole job repair approach, providing a brilliant service for our customers.
• Decorating works across repairs, maintenance and property refurbishments.
• Delivering high-quality and compliant work.
• Multi skilling to improve first time fixes and prevent multiple visits to customers’ homes.
• Working in our properties across the Northwest. All jobs arescheduled so you know exactly where you need to be.

You have

• City and Guilds NVQ Level 3 in painting and decorating or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in all aspects of painting and decorating work within a maintenance environment.
• Experience in other building trade areas (multi skilled).
• A flexible approach, able to use your own initiative and judgement.
• A full current driving license as you’ll be provided with a company van for business use and commuting.

Job details

• Working Monday to Friday, you may be required to take part in our out of hours service on a rota with colleagues, for which you will receive an additional generous on call payment.
• You’ll work across our properties in the Northwest. Our office base is Maryport.
• Confident using technology to access scheduled jobs.
• You have a full current driving license, as you will be provided with a company van for business use and commuting.
• You’ll need a Basic DBS and Health Check done which we pay for.
