Job description

Proactive Personnel is currently working with a business based at East Midlands Airport to recruit a number of paint sprayers to join their team on a temp-perm basis.

You will be responsible for the prepping & spraying of large commercial & private aircraft.

There is a huge element of prep work required in this role, so candidates must be comfortable with this as the amount of actual time spraying can be minimal.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer
  • Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment when working with paints and solvents
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Also involved in this role is a large amount of learning & development due to the nature of the vehicles you will be working on so candidates must be comfortable with paperwork & attending classroom learning

Paying between £16 for beginners - £22 experienced paint spraying candidates dependent on experience on the aircraft side of things, working between 40 - 60 hours per week depending on workload including regular weekend work. Busy period at the moment but they do go through very quiet period in the Summer
