TXM Recruit are recruiting 2 x Paint Sprayers on a temporary basis within the commercial vehicle industry.

Monday - Friday, 37 hours a week with regular overtime available
6.00am - 2.10pm days / 2.00pm - 10.00pm afternoon / 10pm - 6am nights

Are you a paint sprayer looking for your next opportunity? Do you have previous experience of spray painting on projects across either Rail, Bus or Aviation or Automotive?

Purpose of Post

Responsible for spray painting rolling stock components, such as bogie frames, shoe gear and train interior and exterior panels.

Key Tasks
  • Responsible for the marking out and spraying of 2 pack paint.
  • Responsible for any touch up repairs and small paint repairs, prior to sign-off and vehicle component delivery.
  • Responsible for assisting paint preparation i.e., marking up vehicle components prior to paint.
  • Responsible for the safe operation of plant, equipment and/or hand tools associated with the paint preparation & paint processes.
  • Responsible for compliance with the company's Health and Safety policy procedures.
  • Ensure work is completed to meet the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard.
  • Ensure that you treat those with whom they come into contact in a courteous and respectful manner in accordance with the Dignity at Work Procedure.

Requirements
  • Minimum Level 1 or 2 Qualification in spray painting or equivalent.
