A national healthcare facility is seeking candidates for a 6-month position starting August 2026. The role involves participating in clinics and joint surgeries, supervising team activities, and engaging in research projects. There are opportunities for educational training and the potential for on-site accommodation. The position is situated in the London Borough of Harrow. The 6‑month post will commence on 1st August 2026 at RNOH and run until February 2027.
You will spend 6 months at RNOH, participating in joint clinics and joint operating sessions, and performing independent but supervised operating and outpatient sessions. You are expected to supervise multidisciplinary team (MDT) activities, take part in audit and research projects, and assist in the smooth day‑to‑day running of the firm. The post does not attract on‑calls, though you may join the on‑call rota if you wish.
There is an opportunity to apply for on‑site accommodation to facilitate a move to the area.
As an integral member of the team you will be included in educational and training activities and offered study leave. Clinical research, audit, and quality improvement activities are encouraged.
Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital is a national tertiary hospital that provides a comprehensive range of neuromusculoskeletal health care, including extensive services for children. The Paediatric Orthopaedic Service is primarily based at Stanmore; elective surgery is performed onsite at Stanmore, with some outpatient clinics held at our central London facility on Bolsover Street.
