The role demands at least 2 years of experience in food manufacturing, strong project management abilities, and confidence in supplier interactions. You will lead packaging trials, manage specifications and compliance, and play a crucial role in cost-saving initiatives. Qualifications

  • At least 2 years' experience as a Packaging Technologist in food manufacturing.
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball.
  • Solid knowledge of own label vs branded packaging processes.
  • Confidence dealing with suppliers, retailers, and internal teams.
  • A full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

  • Translate briefs into practical, production-ready packaging solutions.
  • Present packaging concepts with confidence.
  • Lead packaging trials, transit testing, and launch activity.
  • Manage artwork and print across internal systems and retailer platforms.
  • Own packaging specifications, BRC compliance, and waste reporting.
  • Work closely with procurement to identify cost-saving opportunities.
