Thorp Academy is seeking a proactive, innovative, and highly organised Personal Assistant to the Principal and Office Manager to lead our academy's administration function. This is a role essential to the smooth operation of our leadership team. You will act as the Principal's right hand, managing complex correspondence and providing confidential support. Beyond traditional PA duties, you will line manage office staff, ensuring the academy's administrative services are efficient and responsive.

Responsibilities
  • Leadership: Line manage office staff, including performance management and operational oversight.
  • Strategic Support: Minute Academy Council and SLT meetings, and prepare high-level reports.
  • Compliance & Safety: Support safer recruitment processes, maintain the Single Central Record, and strictly adhere to GDPR and safeguarding policies.
  • Coordination: Manage student discipline documentation, the academy events calendar, and holiday data.
