Location: Morley , Leeds

Position Type: Part-time - 6 Hours a week in term/10 Hours per week in school holidays. Exact days & times to be arranged with employer

Full clean UK driving licence required

About Us: We are a professional but very close family who work long hours and face multiple challenges together on a daily basis. We have 2 daughters and one who has been diagnosed with a Neurodiverse (Autistic) condition. Our daughter has a passion for Singing, music, dancing and recently basketball but also struggles in a variety of environments and situations.

Job Description: We are seeking a sensitive, empathetic and attentive Personal Assistant to support our neurodiverse daughter with social and personal anxieties. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be patient, and have a proven ability of providing reassurance, empathy and support to her at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating a Supportive Environment: Establish a structured and predictable environment that minimizes stress and sensory overload. This may include creating a quiet space, using soft lighting, and maintaining a routine.
  • Social Skills Support: Encourage and facilitate social interactions, helping them to develop social skills at their own pace. This could involve role‑playing, practicing conversations, or providing opportunities for socialization.
  • Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and validation, helping them navigate their feelings and experiences. Be patient and understanding, as emotional regulation might be a challenge.
