Overview

Part time Accounts Assistant – Widnes (WA8 7QF). Salary: £15.59 per hour. Shifts: Monday – Friday (4 hours per day). Contract Type: Permanent.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Part time Accounts Assistant for our client, a leading manufacturer of high-performance water treatment and process chemicals. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be working within a small team covering all aspects of purchase ledger as well as other duties including credit control.

Responsibilities
  • Receiving invoices.
  • Sending invoices out for authorisation.
  • Posting invoices to the relevant nominal account.
  • Reconciling statements.
  • Processing two payment runs per month.
  • Allocating and posting cash daily.
  • Chasing overdue accounts.
  • Ordering stationary.
  • Weekly processing of clock cards.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Must have worked within a similar role previously.
  • Ability to pick up tasks quickly and efficiently.
  • Works well as part of a team and is happy to conduct other duties where necessary.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Computer literate.
