A leading education recruitment agency is seeking an Oxbridge graduate to support a secondary school in Westminster as an aspiring teacher. This full-time position offers the chance to gain hands-on classroom experience, working with pupils and providing 1:1 SEN support. Oxbridge Graduate - Aspiring Secondary Teacher | Westminster

Are you an Oxbridge graduate with a passion for education and a long-term goal of becoming a secondary school teacher? A high-performing, inclusive Secondary School in the London Borough of Westminster is offering an exceptional opportunity for a talented graduate to gain hands-on classroom experience in a structured and supportive environment. This full-time, term-time only position starts ASAP and is ideal for an Oxbridge graduate eager to build classroom experience before progressing onto teacher training (Schools Direct, PGCE, or salaried routes).

ROLE SUMMARY
  • Support a specialist subject department (English, Maths, Science, Humanities, MFL, etc.)
  • Work with pupils across KS3–KS5, delivering targeted interventions and enrichment activities
  • Provide 1:1 support to SEN students, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their potential
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
  • Receive structured training, mentoring, and CPD throughout the year
  • Play an active role in promoting academic excellence and student wellbeing
SALARY & START

£22,000 – £26,000 per annum (term-time only). Full-time | January 2026 – July 2026. Potential to progress into a teacher training role from July 2026.
