A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the small patient focused team at the Outpatients Department, Snowdrop Breast Unit, with the requirement to work in Royal Glamorgan Hospital and Dewi Sant Hospital if required.
The successful candidate must have an interest in Outpatient Nursing, work well independently and as part of a team, embrace the core values of the health board and a willingness to learn and improve services for patients.
You will also be required to manage the Outpatient area in the absence of the Department Manager. Staff are required to undertake mandatory training and e-learning. Actively participate in PADR and are supported in achieving revalidation. The successful candidate is encouraged to actively participate in and promote departmental learning and development. Main Outpatients operates Monday to Friday; the post requires flexibility over a 5-day period to meet service needs.
Welsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. While Welsh language skills are not essential, having speaking/listening skills at Level 3 (CEFR B2) or above is advantageous when short-listing and selecting candidates.
