Overview

Outdoor Education Coordinator

Tradewind Recruitment are working with schools in Truro and the surrounding towns, who are looking for Outdoor Education Coordinators for the new academic year.

Responsibilities

• Work with students across year groups, encouraging progress. Some roles may include working in small groups, or on a 1:1 basis with students who need additional support.
• Support students of mixed aged groups outside of the classroom, encouraging their participation and supporting their progression.

Role Details

Our client schools are looking for Outdoor Education Coordinators on a full-time basis, however, they will consider applications from individuals looking for a part-time role, with a strong background in education, coaching, or youth work.

Requirements

• Education experience, or transferrable skills
• A DBS on the update service (or happy to apply for one)
• Level 2 or above qualification in relevant subject (preferred)
• A calm and confident approach to learning, with excellent behaviour management skills
