This care is provided at East Oxford Dental Clinic, Oxford.
There is free onsite parking.
Applicants should have experience of working within NHS Primary Dental Service and have a NHS England provider number.
Oxfordshire's emergency dental service provides urgent dental treatment to all patients living and visiting in the local area when normal primary care is closed. Operating between 18:30 to 21.30 Monday to Thursday, 18.30 to 22.00 Fridays and 09:00-18:00 across weekends and bank holidays. Patients access the service via 111.
The team is made up of Dental receptions, Dental nurses and Dentists. Reporting to the OOH Dental Operational Lead and Urgent Dental Care Manager.

To provide a full range of urgent dental care to any patient accessing the Oxfordshire Out of Hours Dental service, including priority groups, special needs children and adults, who after triaging are found to have a dental condition requiring immediate emergency care. Dentists will be expected to adhere to the prescribed clinical and administrative procedures.
The post holder will work weekday evening sessions (3.5 hours), weekend sessions (3 or 4 hours) and/or Bank Holiday sessions (4 hours) which will be allocated on a monthly rota basis. They will need to provide face to face dental treatment for patients with an urgent dental problem.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
