Overview

Apply today to work as a Picker at our client's busy distribution center which deals with groceries, fresh produce, and bread. Staffline is recruiting for a Picker in Stockton-on-Tees.

Rate of pay

• 0-12 weeks: £12.21 per hour
• 13+ weeks: Days £12.21 per hour, Afternoons £13.41 per hour

Hours and shifts

This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week, any 5 days a week, including weekends. Shifts start 6am, 8am, 10am, 12pm, or 2pm and depend on volume with no fixed shift. As this is a full-time role we are not accepting anyone who is not able to work 40 hours a week.

Your Time at Work

As a Picker, your duties will include:

• Picking items
• Building pallets
• Working toward targets
• Working in a busy environment picking various products
• Working in a chilled environment with temperatures ranging from 2C - 8C
• Operating manual handling equipment in order to pick items for orders

Please note this is a physically demanding job that involves heavy lifting; applicants must be of good health and be physically fit to work in a fast-paced environment.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have good communication and maths skills. You must be physically fit due to working on a busy site for 8 hours a shift. Experience in working on the JDA system is desired but not essential as full training is provided.
