Job description

Please note you must be able to pass security clearance for this role (NPPV 3) due to our clients requirements, to gain this level of clearance you must have been a resident living in the UK for the past 3 years

About This Role

You’ve built up solid experience working with Oracle technologies, and you’re ready for something that feels a bit more meaningful. Maybe it’s the chance to work more closely with clients. Maybe it’s the variety, the challenge, or just being part of a team where your knowledge actually matters.

In this role, you’ll be part of the Managed Services team at Namos, supporting a mix of clients across different sectors, each with their own priorities and quirks. You’ll step in when issues need fixing, but you won’t stop there. Our aim is to improve how clients use their systems, not just keep things ticking along. That means getting involved with enhancements, solving problems, providing thought leadership and helping our clients get the most of their Oracle systems.

You’ll be trusted to take ownership of your work, supported by a team that’s open, experienced and collaborative. Whether it’s helping a colleague think through a tricky integration or chatting with Oracle support, you’ll have the autonomy to run with it but never feel like you’re on your own.

What stands out about this role is how closely you’ll get to work with customers. You’ll build relationships that last, understanding how their business works and helping them get real value from their Oracle investment. Some days will be about getting things back on track quickly. Others will give you the space to think deeper, spotting patterns, identifying risks, and making recommendations that improve how their systems support the people behind them.

Skills and Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a technical capacity on Oracle Cloud
  • Strong experience with Data Loader, inbound and outbound integrations, Extracts, OTBI, BI Publisher, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • Proficient in working with REST APIs and SQL, including the use of Oracle SQL tools
  • Client facing skills and the ability to communicate with clients at all levels (both written and verbal)
  • Exceptional problem-solving and have strong analytical skills. Troubleshooting problems, including functional replication of issues
  • Proven ability to work with pressure, related to resolution timeframes and conflicting/competing priorities that require multi-tasking
  • Desire to learn about new features and technology
  • Understanding of the ITIL framework relating to incidents, problems and the change management life cycle

It would be advantageous if you had any of the following (if not we can work on these):

  • Functional knowledge ERP, HCM or Payroll
  • Java/Groovy Scripts
  • Oracle Apex
  • Oracle Certifications to support your experience to date
  • Previously worked in a Managed Services environment
