An independent optometry practice in Petersfield is seeking a dedicated Optometrist for a full-time or part-time role. Overview

Optometrist - Full time or Part-Time (3-4 days)

Independent practice - Petersfield, Hampshire

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity and detect any abnormalities or diseases
• Prescribe corrective lenses, such as glasses or contact lenses, based on individual patient needs
• Diagnose and manage various eye conditions, including but not limited to refractive errors, cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries
• Educate patients on proper eye care techniques and the importance of regular eye examinations
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Be commercially aware and able to identify client needs and make recommendations accordingly
