Overview

We are seeking an Operations Schedule Planning Analyst to join our Operations Planning department. This role reports to the Operations Schedule Manager and supports the design of the commercial flight schedule by assuring it is safe, operationally feasible and cost efficient. The role will work closely with Scheduling and Operational teams leading the coordination of future schedule activities.

What you’ll be doing
  • Using a variety of analytical tools, collate and verify future schedules against operational schedule parameters.
  • Model and calibrate future performance to ensure the right operational resilience, in line with pre agreed KPIs, working closely with operational and commercial stakeholders to ensure the right trade-off between operational performance and commerciality.
  • The function will conduct research and development on a variety of concepts and initiatives ensuring continuous improvement.
What you’ll need to do the role
  • Strategic analytical experience with a passion for diving into details, extracting insights from data, and facilitating trade-off discussions.
  • A degree or equivalent experience in a numerical or analytical field is essential.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Familiarity with tools like MS SQL Studio, Python, and Tableau is required.
  • The ability to use data modelling to drive initiatives that enhance operational performance.
Location & Hours of Work

This is a full time role based in Luton Airport, working 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and spend three days per week in the office.
