A leading water and wastewater company is seeking an Operations Performance Manager in Swindon. In this role, you will oversee the management of multiple Sewage Treatment Works and a team of technicians, focusing on Health & Safety, operational compliance, and team development. The position offers a competitive salary up to £42,000 per annum, 26 days holiday, and various wellness benefits.
We have a great opportunity for you to join Thames Water as an Operations Performance Manager, to work across the geographical area of Swindon and the surrounding area, where you will be assisting with the day-to-day running of up to 15 Sewage Treatment Works, along with managing a small multi-skilled team of up to 12 technicians.
This is a 6-month contract.
With the impact of our operations on the environment being at the forefront of everything we do, you will be tasked to drive improvements in the operations of your sites and the assets within them, looking at ways to change what we do for the better of all parties, mainly our customers and, of course, THE ENVIRONMENT.
You will need to inspire and motivate your team whilst also being able to empathise and understand each person in your team, helping us build a strong team environment.
You will operate out of the main site at Swindon, STW, but will visit other sites, making a driving licence essential as you will need to travel throughout your working week. A van is provided.
You will work 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday, along with participating in an out-of-hours rota for escalations and advice, as we are a 24-hour business.
If this is you, we are looking for someone to join our Thames Valley South Operations Team in Wastewater, who offers a brilliant opportunity for you to establish a career with Thames Water in frontline operations.
