35 hours per week – Monday to Friday – 9:00am to 5:00pm

We have an opportunity for an Operations Manager – Fire Projects to join our team based in London. This role sits with the Fire and Security Operational Compliance Team managing the Fire Risk Assessment Team and the delivery of high quality and cost‑effective Internal Maintenance Services.

Operations Manager – Fire Projects responsibilities
  • Managing the operational delivery of a cost effective Internal Maintenance service by operating within appropriate financial policies and procedures and agreed budgets
  • Overseeing the management of Fire safety projects ensuring they are properly resourced and operating within all legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing relevant policies and procedures and effectively communicate and implement these, ensuring effective application of good practice and legal compliance
  • Assisting in the effective management of the Internal Maintenance service to ensure the timely achievement of business targets and contribute to the development of growth opportunities in accordance with the strategy
Skills and experiences
  • To ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to level 4 Fire Risk Assessment Diploma, Fire Door Inspection L3, Passive Fire Level 3 Certification or currently undertaking the qualification. As part of the interview process, candidates will be required to bring with them the original certification verifying proof of their qualifications. Copies and CSCS cards will not be accepted.
  • Experience of managing multi site maintenance contracts in a commercially focused role
  • Proven experience of delivering services within budget
  • Proven track record of delivering fire passive projects on a national scale
  • Proven track record managing a direct labour operation or internal maintenance service

The full time equivalent salary for this role is £61,314 with an additional policy allowance of £5,058 per annum based on 40 hours per week rising to £64,541 with an additional policy allowance of £5,324 per annum after 12 months service and subject to satisfactory performance
