Are you an experienced leader with a passion for driving operational excellence, safety, and team development? We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our team in Wallingford. You’ll be required to take ownership of the day-to-day management of our workshop and site activities, ensuring smooth operations, high-quality standards, and a strong focus on health and safety.
About the Role
As Operations Manager, you will:
- Oversee daily workshop and site operations, ensuring efficient scheduling and resource allocation.
- Lead on health & safety compliance, including risk assessments, safe systems of work, and incident reporting.
- Monitor quality standards and ensure all projects meet company and customer requirements.
- Drive forward planning by reviewing pipelines, assessing capacity, and liaising with planning/project teams.
- Develop, coach, and motivate staff to achieve maximum performance and maintain required certifications.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities to streamline processes.
