About Us

M.C.M Cleaning Solutions Ltd is a rapidly growing, award-winning construction and industrial cleaning company operating across Scotland and beyond. We specialise in builders' cleans, sparkle cleans, high-reach industrial cleaning, substations, commercial sites, and large-scale construction projects.

We are now seeking an exceptional General Manager to take full operational control of the business and lead it into its next phase of growth.

The Role

This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the entire company. You will oversee operations, people, performance, compliance, and client relationships, working closely with the Director while having full autonomy to manage and grow the business.

This role is suited to someone who has already run teams, contracts, and operations at scale and is comfortable being accountable for results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full operational management of M.C.M Cleaning Solutions Ltd
  • Leadership and management of all staff (operatives, supervisors, admin, management)
  • Overseeing construction, industrial, and commercial cleaning contracts
  • Client relationship management with developers, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Scheduling, resourcing, and workforce planning across multiple sites
  • Financial oversight including labour control, margins, variations, and performance
  • Ensuring compliance with H&S, RAMS, audits, accreditations, and site requirements
  • Implementing systems, processes, and efficiencies across the business
  • Supporting recruitment, training, performance management, and disciplinaries
  • Acting as the main operational decision-maker for the business
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in a senior operations / general manager role
  • Strong background in construction, facilities management, industrial services, or cleaning
  • Experience managing large teams and multi-site operations
  • Commercially minded with strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Confident dealing with senior clients, site managers, QSs, and directors
  • Excellent understanding of H&S and compliance within construction environments
  • Calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and highly organised
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
