Operations Manager – Greater Manchester

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 (DOE)

If you’re an Operations Manager who likes a challenge and is passionate about improving people and processes, then this might be for you!

This isn’t a ‘business as usual’ role. The site has gone through significant investment and change. There are plenty of positives but they’re still facing some challenges. They’re now looking for a period of stability and strong leadership, which is where you come in.

About the Role
  • Collaborating with colleagues in the senior team and wider business to deliver and support site strategy. Leading the production team from the front to drive engagement and performance Assessing and reshaping your team, so it is fit for purpose, with the right people, skills and resources in place. Coaching, mentoring and developing your team with a focus on succession planning. Identify and implement new, improved ways of working to drive performance and efficiencies.
About You

You’ll need to have a background in food manufacturing and we’re keen to hear from anybody with the following skills and experience:

  • Proven leadership skills, with demonstrable experience of developing and improving teams, succession planning, and performance management. A proactive, CI focused mindset – somebody who can identify and solve problems. Change management – able to take people with through periods of change. Collaborative approach, able to develop strong relationships with colleagues at all levels.
