As an Operations Manager based in Luton, you’ll be responsible for:
  • Leading a team of engineers, operations assistants and drivers, overseeing asset repairs, turnaround times, stock control, goods‑in processes and all transport administration, including route planning, driver runs, tachograph management and audit compliance.
  • Managing the ordering and booking of spare parts and equipment, maintaining strong supplier relationships to ensure availability and fast response times.
  • Working closely with the hire manager to maintain high service levels, ensuring rapid breakdown turnaround and fleet readiness to support operational demands.
  • Overseeing core HR responsibilities for the team, including interviewing, performance appraisals, holiday and absence management.
