A leading live entertainment company located in Edinburgh is looking for an Operations Assistant for a fixed-term contract. The role requires accepting and storing venue deliveries, conducting stock takes, and forecasting sales using online systems. Firmly established in the cultural landscape of Edinburgh and Scotland, the Edinburgh Playhouse is the UK's largest all seated theatre and plays host to some of the biggest names in live music, comedy and musical theatre.
This is a fixed term twelve-month contract, 40hours per week Monday to Friday. The Operations Assistant will report to the Operations Manager. In this physical role, you will accept and store all incoming venue deliveries, ensuring they are checked and recorded accurately and to report any discrepancies. The Operations Assistant will lead the weekly stock take, ensuring all issues are investigated and to ensure consistent and effective stock management.
The Operations Assistant will take responsibility for accurately forecasting sales and planning orders utilising our online ordering systems.
Team focused,this role will support a positive culture within our Customer Experience Management team by maintaining an exceptional venue operation and supporting the wider team in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
