Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Operations Analyst to join our Equity Derivative Settlements team in Chester. You will provide technical support in an industry-leading derivatives support function for one or more derivatives product areas.

The team has been established in Chester for 10 years and maintains a global contact network, including partners in Hong Kong, Singapore, London and New York. This is an opportunity for career development and relationship-building with senior colleagues across locations.

Responsibilities
  • Providing excellent client service to internal clients to agree cash flows and support global business needs.
  • Investigating and resolving pre- and post-cash settlement discrepancies and non-receipts; performing cash reconciliations.
  • Reporting on and clearing cash breaks; analysing and resolving a wide variety of derivatives operations problems.
  • Liaising with Trade Support teams in London, Hong Kong, Singapore and New York to resolve and highlight risk and break issues.
  • Adding value by implementing improvements to system infrastructure and control environment; participating in project and ad-hoc testing.
  • Performing root cause analysis, communicating updates to senior management, and continuously improving client service and efficiency.

  • Keen problem solver with a focus on process improvement and attention to detail and accuracy.
