Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Liverpool FC team as an Operational Administrator at our Distribution Centre. This role will be working side by side with our operational team and is a warehouse shop‑floor based role.

In this role, you will provide vital administrative support to Supervisors and operational teams, ensuring smooth order processing, accurate reporting, and ongoing SLA compliance. You will investigate exceptions, monitor stock and operational data, compile reports, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries. You’ll also support team rostering, training, and onboarding activities, while contributing to process improvements across the operation. Your work will ensure data is accurate, compliant, and clearly communicated to management, helping to inform decisions and drive strong operational performance.

What will you be doing?
Order Processing & Administration
  • Process and release orders in line with operational schedules and SLAs.
  • Investigate order delays or exceptions, identifying root causes and escalating where needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity across WMS/ERP systems.
  • Carrying out all operational administration tasks related to Retail Store deliveries.
  • Undertaking all operational administration tasks related to customer ecommerce orders and returns.
Internal & External Support
  • Provide administrative support to retail stores, customer service, planning, finance, and other teams.
  • Respond to queries on orders, stock, and deliveries from internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Prepare and distribute reports, dashboards, and operational metrics for management.
  • Stock & Data Management
  • Support stock administration, system updates, and discrepancy reconciliation.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory activities.
  • Monitor data accuracy and help maintain loss‑prevention processes.
Staffing & Training Support
  • Assist Supervisors with rostering, absence tracking, and shift planning.
  • Support onboarding and training of colleagues on systems and processes.
  • Act as a point of contact for administrative guidance.
  • Process Improvement & Compliance
  • Identify recurring issues and contribute to process improvements.
  • Support implementation of new systems or procedures.
  • Ensure administrative tasks comply with company policies, audit standards, and regulatory requirements.
Communication & Coordination
  • Maintain strong communication with operational teams and cross‑functional departments.
  • Provide timely updates on order exceptions, stock challenges, and admin bottlenecks.
  • Act as a liaison to ensure smooth and efficient information flow.
Who are we looking for?

To be successful, you will have proven experience and knowledge of working in an administrative position in a distribution centre environment or a similar setting. You will be analytical and have great troubleshooting skills when dealing with stock investigations. You will understand business key trading periods and have WMS experience and knowledge ideally PVX and Netsuite.

You will have good organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to and meet deadlines. You will have strong verbal and written communication skills with a "can do" approach and have the flexibility to work within our operational administration team. You will be able to work in a fast‑paced environment and work well within a team environment.
