A healthcare provider in London is looking for a full-time Operating Department Orderly to assist in patient care within the surgical theatre environment. This role involves working closely with the surgical team and requires flexibility to cover various shifts, including weekends and nights. We are recruiting for an Operating Department Orderly for the Croydon Hospital Elective/Emergency Surgical Centre (Theatre departments).
The role involves assisting the team of registered and non‑registered Theatre Practitioners in the care of patients. You will work both inside and outside of the operating theatres as part of a multidisciplinary team.
The successful candidate will contribute to creating a safe, clean and welcoming environment for all patients.
Work flexibility in a challenging environment is required, as you will be part of the 24‑hour cover for theatres, which includes weekends, bank holidays and nights.
