Onsite IT Support Technician (Term Time)

Birmingham Based

With training, the first weeks will be spent shadowing a senior team member. Applicants with an interest in IT, even without hands‑on experience, are welcome.

What you will be doing
  • Provide scheduled technical maintenance and support for ICT across a set of schools.
  • Work on larger installations in line with documented project plans.
  • Deliver reactive IT support (telephone, remote, site visits, hardware quotations).
  • Research and document development projects and procedures aligned with strategic objectives.
What we are looking for
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • An interest in IT and a career in this area.
  • Ideally some form of IT qualification (GCSE/A Level) although this is not essential.
  • Happy to work term time only.
  • Full UK licence with access to own vehicle.

Entrust is a joint venture between Capita and Staffordshire County Council. We work across the UK in partnership with schools, academies, and local authorities to provide specialist expertise around school improvement, learning technologies, and support services. We currently work in over 50 local authorities, with 600 schools.
