Job summary

A tech service provider is looking for an Onsite Audio-Visual Technician in Westminster, UK. This 12-month fixed-term contract focuses on troubleshooting and maintaining AV systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, 4+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to manage client communications effectively. Responsibilities include end-to-end troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and support for meetings. The position requires full right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience performing duties in a relevant industry.
• Other desirable vendor certifications include Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC and CompTIA.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end troubleshooting and resolution of AV systems issues.
• Respond with urgency to AV Network Operations Centre alerts.
• Develop and institute a comprehensive preventative maintenance plan.

Skills

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work independently

Experience with Crestron solutions

Network experience (Network+ and/or CCNA preferred)

Comfortable interfacing with customers

Ability to read technical drawings
