A leading staffing company is seeking an Onsite AV Support Technician to provide essential support for audio-visual systems at client sites in London. Responsibilities include conducting maintenance, providing AV support during meetings, and ensuring client training on system operation. The role offers a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 based on experience, along with 25 days of holiday and a statutory pension. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and technical knowledge of various AV systems.

Qualifications

  • Technical knowledge of AV controls, audio DSPs and IPTV systems.
  • Experience with various AV systems is highly beneficial.

  • Conduct daily scheduled preventative maintenance visits.
  • Provide detailed service reports and documentation.
  • Log and manage all incidents accurately.
  • Provide AV support during meetings and events.

Onsite AV Support Technician

Salary : £35,000 - £45,000 (DOE)

Location : London

Role

Providing onsite support, including preventative maintenance, meeting room checks and reactive service at client sites within the London area.

You'd be based at one particular client site, which may alternate every few weeks / months.

Duties
  • Serve as the primary audio visual contact for the facility.
  • Conduct daily scheduled preventative maintenance visits and document findings.
  • Provide detailed service reports and documentation.
  • Log and manage all incidents accurately.
  • Provide AV support during meetings and events.
  • Provide customer training on AV system operation.
What You'll Need
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Technical knowledge of AV systems.
  • Understanding of networking principles.
  • Technical knowledge of AV controls, audio DSPs and IPTV systems. Experience with systems such as Crestron, QSYS, Poly Logitech and Mediastar would be highly beneficial.
  • Excellent fault-finding skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
