Overview

Registered Manager. Salary: Up to £54,500. Working pattern: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, with one day per week working from home. We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a high-quality children's residential home. The Registered Manager will have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring outstanding care, strong safeguarding practice and full compliance with Ofsted regulations.

The Registered Manager will work Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with the flexibility to work from home one day each week. This structure supports a healthy work-life balance while ensuring consistent leadership and presence within the home.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee staffing, supervision, training, performance management, budgeting and all operational aspects of the home.
  • Ensure the environment remains safe, nurturing and focused on improving outcomes for young people with complex needs.
  • Demonstrate excellent decision-making skills, emotional resilience, and the ability to maintain high standards under pressure.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Candidates must have significant experience working within children\'s residential care.
  • Strong understanding of legislation and regulations, and a proven ability to lead teams effectively.
  • Must be a confident leader who can drive continuous improvement, build a positive team culture, and maintain robust safeguarding and compliance systems.
