Office Manager | Huddersfield | Office-Based | Up to £42,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits. We’re partnered with a privately owned regional main building contractor established in Huddersfield over 100 years ago, delivering a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial projects across Yorkshire — from bespoke one-off builds to multi-million-pound developments.

Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring a seamless and professional environment
  • Providing high-level administrative support to project teams and the wider business
  • Taking ownership of document control — ensuring all drawings, specifications, reports, and correspondence are accurately managed and distributed
  • Maintaining version control and precision across all project documentation
  • Managing subcontractor payments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal processes
  • Partnering closely with site teams, project managers, and consultants to keep information flowing efficiently
  • Driving improvements to internal systems and processes to support growth
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Office Manager, within a construction sector
  • Strong knowledge of document control processes with exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrable experience of managing subcontractor payments
  • Organised, methodical, and able to balance multiple priorities with ease
  • A confident communicator who thrives in a collaborative, team-focused culture
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document control platforms
