Position: Ocean Operator

Hours: 9am - 5pm

Salary: Up to £35,000 doe

Caledonia Recruitment are recruiting an Ocean Import/Export Operator for our Freight Forwarding client based in Hillington. The ideal candidate will be fully conversant in all aspects of Import and Export operations and have a strong customs background, ensuring smooth and efficient transportation of goods. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to offer top class customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the shipment of goods via Import and export freight
  • Booking Ocean Import and export from start to finish
  • Track and update delivery statuses in the company's system and provide regular updates to clients
  • Job invoicing and costing
  • Prepare, track, and manage all documentation related to freight shipments, customs declarations and invoices
  • Prepare and submit customs clearances
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with internal teams to optimise freight processes and improve service delivery
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 years experience with a UK freight forwarder in ocean import and export freight
