Job summary

A global real estate consultancy is looking for a Surveyor to join their Occupier Solutions / Portfolio Management team. In this role, you will manage property issues across a corporate portfolio and handle lease renewals. The ideal candidate should be degree educated, MRICS qualified, and possess experience in property management, with strong lease advisory knowledge and stakeholder management skills. Cobalt are delighted to be supporting a leading global real estate consultancy in their search for a Surveyor to join their Occupier Solutions / Portfolio Management team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work directly with major corporate clients, providing occupier management services across a large regional portfolio (c.200 properties), acting as a key point of contact for day-to-day property matters, lease events, and portfolio initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Managing property issues and projects across a corporate portfolio
  • Handling lease renewals (outside the 1954 Act) and supporting acquisitions
  • Undertaking property inspections and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Supporting vacant space management and lease queries
  • Working on service charge payments, budgeting and variance reporting
  • Liaising with landlords, tenants, solicitors and external consultants
  • Maintaining accurate portfolio data and reporting to the client
What We're Looking For
  • Degree educated (or equivalent)
  • MRICS qualified (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience supporting corporate clients in occupier management / property management
  • Strong lease advisory knowledge and confident stakeholder management
  • Comfortable working with property databases and reporting
