A leading healthcare provider in Chelmsford is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist for a 4-month contract. The successful candidate will work in acute rotations at Broomfield Hospital and provide rehabilitation and discharge planning for in-patients and out-patients. The ideal candidate should be HCPC registered, passionate about therapy in an acute setting, and capable of supervising assistants. Job description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to join the acute rotations at Broomfield Hospital. The successful candidate will commence in the orthopaedic rotation to support a new elective trauma and orthopaedic ward.

You will be part of an agile, friendly, highly motivated team of therapists working within multidisciplinary teams delivering rehabilitation to, and discharge planning for, in‑patients and outpatients in various settings.

You will be responsible for assessing, treating and clinically managing patients with a range of conditions; creating the treatment program required to achieve a successful discharge.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the provision of Physio or Occupational therapy in the acute setting.

You will be working within integrated teams of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistants, supported by Advanced therapists in all areas.
