What you will do
  • Provide high-quality assessment and intervention services to children and young people with diverse needs including sensory, motor, perceptual, and functional life skills.
  • Collaborate with psychologists, speech and language therapists, and creative/talking therapists to develop and implement effective therapeutic plans.
  • Design and adapt child-centred approaches to foster engagement and build meaningful relationships with children and young adults.
  • Guide and mentor fellow clinicians, promoting excellence and adherence to professional standards.
  • Ensure your practices align with the requirements of Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP) to facilitate improved well-being and access to learning for each client.
Requirements
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Relevant and recent experience working within the UK, specifically with the NHS.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
