Due to the continued success of our clients’ business, we are looking to recruit an experienced, competent Occupational Hygienist based in and around the Wigan area. Consideration will be given to applicants from Warrington, St Helens, Bury, Stretford and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Extensive experience in an occupational hygiene role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Qualified Occupational Hygienist holding BIOH/IOA or equivalent qualifications.
  • IT literate.
Role
  • Undertake a wide range of occupational hygiene related projects such as workplace assessments – air monitoring, COSHH assessments, noise, fumes, dust and hand‑arm vibration surveys, local exhaust ventilation (LEV) examination and testing, indoor air quality and legionella.
  • Emissions testing.
  • Site assessments.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with clients.
  • Manage projects/accounts effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with MCERTS standards.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety procedures and legislation.
  • Have a full clean driving licence, as extensive travelling is required.
