A global sustainable technology leader in the United Kingdom is seeking an Occupational Health Technician to support health surveillance and screening programmes at various sites. You will maintain Health Records and ensure compliance with protocols, contributing to employee well-being. The ideal candidate will have healthcare experience and possess skills in health assessments such as audiometry and spirometry. This role is to support the Occupational Health (OH) team by performing health surveillance tests and assisting in the planning, implementation and administration of health screening programmes and maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date Occupational Health Records.
The role contributes to the protection and improvement of employee health and well‑being across Johnson Matthey sites – Royston, Brimsdown, Cambridge and Sonning – ensuring compliance with departmental protocols and statutory guidelines.
Travel will be needed on several JM sites: Royston (primary base site), Brimsdown North London (monthly as required), Cambridge, Sonning & Farringdon (quarterly visits as required). The office will be located at one of these sites. The environment is an office with optimal lighting, low noise levels, DSE work and telephone use. Temperature is generally average. All sites operate with varying levels of risk and complexity.
